Câu hỏi 1: What sort of hobbies do you have?

I’m a hardcore gamer so when I have some spare time I enjoy playing games on my laptop or my gaming console. It helps me relieve from stress after a long day.

Câu hỏi 2: What hobbies/free-time activities are popular in your country?

Well, there is certainly a wide variety of hobbies in my country. Though I think the most popular would be traveling. People can relax after a long hard working week . It’s also a good time for all family members or groups of friends to see and visit new places together.

Other common hobbies would be music or sport because both help people to unwind after a busy day. Additionally, there are many-others, such as reading and, playing board games but they are not as widely enjoyed as the first three I mentioned.

Câu hỏi 3: Why is it important for people to have free time activities?

Well, first of all, it is a very good way for people to let off steam and relieve stress by taking it easy after a hard working week. Free time activities refresh them and make them more energetic. Another one is that taking part in group games provides them valuable chances to socialize and improve their relationships. In addition to this, if people play sports they will become healthier and more resistant to diseases (kháng bệnh).

Câu hỏi 4: What free-time activities would you like to try in the future?

To be honest, I would say that I would really like to try surfing in the future. I guess the reason why is that it is an exciting, adventurous sport. In addition to this, I would really love to go skydiving and master maneuvering my body on air.

Câu hỏi 5: Is it harmful to spend too much time on a hobby?

Honestly, I guess that in many ways it can be pretty harmful because it negatively affects your work, study and personal relationships. But we should also understand that in some cases, it may be good for older people to idle away their hours on a favorite hobby. Considering everything my answer would have to be yes for most people, but no for some.

Công thức như sau:

• I’m interested in + noun / gerund

• I’m into + noun / gerund

• I enjoy + noun / gerund

• I’m keen on + noun / gerund ⇒ Bạn cũng có thể thêm vào các trạng từ như “really”, “quite” để nhấn mạnh ý của mình.

Nói về sở thích của mình

• Because I’m a……, I like;

• I’m a…..so I like………;

• I like ………..because…;

Ví dụ:

• Because I’m a creative person, I like arts and crafts;

• I’m an outgoing person so I like socialising/hanging out with friends;

• I really enjoy going to the gym because…;

• …it keeps me fit;

• …it’s sociable. I’ve met lots of new people;

• …it gets me out of the house to be active;

• …it’s not very expensive, and anyone can do it;

• …it gives me something interesting to do with my time;
