The first advantage is that  in many buildings such as offices, having a joined room allows employees to communicate more easily with one another. As a result, they develop mutual understanding and collaborate more effectively, thereby improving work efficiency. In addition, children have the need to do physical activities and to explore their surroundings. Therefore, having a wide room to run around can help them develop both physically and mentally, which is extremely important for the growth of children.

Nevertheless, doing this can also have some drawbacks which are worth mentioning. Firstly, employees in offices can find it difficult to work in such a noisy environment. This can distract them from their individual work, which has a negative effect on their work productivity. Secondly, the lack of privacy is also a problem in buildings such as apartments, where family members need a certain level of personal space. This makes these members feel uncomfortable in their own house, giving rise to arguments and conflicts. Consequently, family bonds between members can be damaged beyond repair.
